With its beautiful beaches, wild ponies, and quaint town of Chincoteague, of course, this is our Number 1. Enjoy many activities such as sightseeing cruises, kayak tours, crabbing, bird watching, fishing, hunting, biking and more.
You can't think of Assateague without thinking of the famous Pony Swim in the end of July. Learn more about it from our past blog post here.

You can't leave the island without having a soft shell crab; after all, it is the Tangier Island is the self proclaimed "soft-shell crab capital" in the nation.
